Asya Premier Suites, Boracay

Asya Premier Suites. Boracay.

Located in Barangay Manoc-Manoc (Station 3), the 12-hectare property (only two hectares have been developed so far) offers guests 10 Filipino-inspired seafront villas designed by architect Ed Ledesma, a partner of Locsin architectural firm. Antonio Garcia designed the minimalist landscape.

The suites showcase a Filipino theme, interior designer Rachy Cuna played around with a woven design motif, evident in the embroidered throw pillows and headboard-cum-space divider found in each suite.

Each two-story villa houses a pair of suites (one on the ground floor and one on the second floor) measuring 110 sq m each. Eight villas have premier suites, while the remaining two villas feature four top-of-the-line presidential suites with their own wading pools.

Choy Cojuangco wanted the place to reflect a modern Filipino ambiance. “Why would guests, who traveled all the way to Boracay, want to stay in a place with Thai and Balinese touches? Since everybody (locally) has been doing that, guests are probably better off flying to Thailand or Bali instead.”

Borders now boasts of supplying the furniture to complete the look for Asya Premier Suites, Boracay.
